On Sept. 25, I visited Dr. Kang at Arguello Pet Hospital for my annual visit. Boy, was she happy to see me! She remembers the first time I came to see her when I had pneumonia. She was seriously worried that I might have distemper. But now she’s thrilled that I am healthy and happy. She also recommended that I lose 5 lbs. (I’m 75 lbs.)
She was quite pleased that my teeth didn’t have a lot of buildup and that Mom brushes my teeth every night. Most dog owners balk at having to brush their dogs’ teeth. So now that I know I’ve made the doctor happy, I won’t fight it when Mom comes at me with a toothbrush and pries open my jaws.
The vet technicians thought I was the sweetest dog. They were very amused that my tail didn’t stop wagging, even when they used a rectal thermometer and manually took a stool sample (don’t ask!).
