Hallelujah, I’m Blessed!

July 17, 2007
Today Mom and Aunts Heidi, Jackie, and Lynn took me to the animal blessing in North Beach.  Lots of mommies and daddies took their furry kids to be blessed at the St. Francis of Assisi Church.   This was a very unnerving experience.  Too many animals, hot inside, and small cramped space between the pews.  The priest said a few words and sprayed holy water on everyone, people and dogs.

The priest spoke and  woman told a story about how a dog cheated death.  And how important animals are in life.  Amen.  After that, they talked about other stuff and I tuned out.  Man, it’s amazing how so many dogs can sit still.  There were other small animals too, like hamsters and lizards.
I don't know how humans can stand Mass.

This guy is bored too.

After all the talking, the priest walked down the aisle and sprayed the entire congregation with holy water.  I couldn’t wait to get out.

It's cramped between the pews.

Thanks Auntie Lynn for taking pics of this very important event in my life!

LA in July

July 4, 2007

It’s nice to have a home in LA.  More dogs, dog parks, nice weather.  Mom also met up with an old friend who brought his mini pinscher out to play.  Jasper was more friendly than the chihuahua.  No playmate is too small for me!
